Founded in 2005, GUSTO Group is located in Zhaoqing's Guangdong International Circuit as its operation center, and has branches in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing and other places. At present, GUSTO Group includes 6 companies: GUSTO Engineering Company Limited(Hong Kong, China), Shenzhen GUSTO Engineering Company Limited, Beijing GUSTO Technik Performance Parts Co.,Ltd., Zhaoqing High-tech Zone GUSTO Auto Tech R&D Co.Ltd, TEAMWORK Team Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong, China), and Zhaoqing TEAMWORK Sports Promotion Co., Ltd.

Automotive Engineering & Technology R&D

In terms of automotive engineering & technology research and development, GUSTO has a well-equipped factory, which can not only complete the CNC machining and manufacturing of customized parts independently, but also be competent for CAD design, engine R&D and upgrading, electronic control system installation and commissioning, racing vehicle manufacturing and assembly and other projects.

GUSTO is one of the few companies in China that has the R&D and production capacity of racing engines, and the engines developed have completely independent intellectual property rights. It has successively upgraded and built a number of racing cars such as Peugeot RCZ, Subaru Impreza, and Audi TT RS, and won the championship in the Macau Grand Prix.

Since 2014, GUSTO has become the official chassis and engine supplier of CTCC. It has also successively served SAIC Volkswagen 333 Team, CHANGAN Ford Team, BAIC Motor Team and other manufacturer teams, helping manufacturers win championships in the competition. In 2016, GUSTO became the official partner of Volkswagen, Audi and SEAT in the Asian region for TCR racing, providing technical support to all participating teams.

Since 2021, GUSTO has entered into a technical cooperation with the NIO 333 FE team. At the end of 2023, 333 Racing upgraded its strategy and officially changed its name to ERT Formula E (Electric Racing Technologies), and Xu Jiatai, the founder of GUSTO Group, will continue to serve as the team leader, with a higher strategic vision, committed to expanding the application of expertise in the field of electrification to a wider market.

Business

In terms of commerce and trade, GUSTO is the earliest service provider engaged in the import of modified parts in China, and has introduced many overseas first-line modified parts to the domestic market, such as: UK's top brake brand ALCON, Sweden's best-in-class shock absorber Öhlins, UK's high-end oil Millers, as well as REVO, IDI, Racetech, COSWORTH, XTRAC, 3MO, OWEN, Stand 21 and many other brands. In addition, GUSTO Group has developed two independent brands, GETuned and GV Exhaust System, to feed back the cutting-edge technology in the field of motor sports to the car market, so as to meet the ultimate needs of users for performance upgrades.

At the same time, GUSTO is also a partner of Audi Motorsport and Volkswagen Sports, and sells Audi RS3 LMS TCR race cars, Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR race cars, and CUPRA LEON COMPETICION VZ race cars in Asia. The CUPRA LEON COMPETICION VZ race car is a new model for the 2024 season launched by CUPRA, a high-performance sub-brand of SEAT, which is a performance monster based on TCR rules, benchmarking world-class professional car racing events, adopting new technology specifications on the basis of CUPRA LEON COMPETICION, optimizing and upgrading the original performance, and giving users the best experience.

Team operation

In terms of team operations, TEAMWORK was officially established in 2013 and made its debut at the Macau Grand Prix that year. Now it has become one of the top racing operation organizations in Asia, and one of the few teams in China with the ability to provide full-chain services for professional events.

At present, the team has an office in the Guangdong International Circuit, which greatly facilitates the development of the car and the practice and test activities. The team has a number of major departments such as engine, chassis, electronic control, and suspension, as well as a customer service department, which can provide one-stop event services for customer service drivers.

Since 2014, the team has participated in CTCC competitions, and in 2016, it switched to TCR and participated in TCR Asia, TCR China, TCR UK, TCR Malaysia and other regional races. With its outstanding track record, excellent hardware support and event service capabilities, TEAMWORK has won the top of the Asian touring car many times and has become the first choice of many TCR customers.

Since the 2020 season, the TEAMWORK has joined hands with China's own brand Lynk & Co to establish the Shell Teamwork Lynk & Co Racing, and by the end of the 2023 season, "Red Devil Lynk & Co" has delivered an impressive record of "eight championships in four years" in TCR Asia. The team's golden line-up Ma Qinghua, Zhang Zhiqiang and Zhu Dawei won three Drivers' Championships respectively.

It is particularly worth noting that in the 2023 season, Mr. Aaron Kwok, a famous multi-actor in the Chinese film industry  joined the team as a "special guest driver", becoming the most sensational event in the stadium and empowering the promotion of domestic racing culture.

In addition, in 2022~2023, TEAMWORK undertook race cars, racing and technical support services, and together with GEELY Group Motorsport, it successfully created the GEELY Development Driver Program and the GEELY Super Cup PRO project.
